⚠ Regular inspection of your harness for wear and tear. Regularly inspect your harness for signs of wear, including frayed or damaged webbing, loose stitching, or broken buckles. Replace it if you notice any issues.
Match your harness selection to its intended use. A ski touring harness is vastly different from a big-wall harness. If you have many objectives and terrain choices you may want to have multiple harnesses.
Climbing harnesses come in various sizes. To choose the right one, measure your waist and leg circumference and refer to the manufacturer's sizing chart. The harness should fit snugly but not be too tight. We recommend hanging for an extended period of time in the harness to see what pressure points build up and how the harness fits your body type.
Select from extra gear loops, adjustable leg loops, haul loops, extra padding, two waist buckles, thin belay loops and alternative frames and structures.
