M45 Pack

The M45 packs the capacity of a full-size alpine pack into a carry that feels as stable and close-fitting as a smaller one. A full BackDoor panel lets you reach gear at the bottom of the pack without unloading everything on top, and the Balance System uses the shoulder straps to adjust, compress and stabilize the load from the bottom of the pack. With a ventilated back, a removable hip belt and lid, and dedicated carry for axes, skis, helmet and rope, it's built for multi-day mountaineering and ski touring.

• Full BackDoor access: Opens the main compartment from the back panel, with a sleeve for a hydration bladder.
• XAir ventilated back: Soft, breathable mesh over a 3 mm aluminium wire frame.
• Balance System: Two straps on top of the shoulders adjust, compress and stabilize the load by pulling from the bottom of the pack instead of the top.
• Ergonomic shoulder straps: Shaped for a close, performance fit.
• Removable padded hip belt: Has one zippered pocket and one gear loop, and comes off for technical climbing.
• Removable lid: A large main compartment plus a smaller lower compartment for valuables. A protective cover pulls out to close the top when the lid is removed.
• Ice axe carry: Two holders with removable elastic cords on top and a head-locker system at the bottom.
• Ski and snowboard carry: Straps hide away when not in use and reverse to work as lashing straps for a snowboard or other gear.
• Hideaway helmet carrier: An external system that tucks away when not needed.
• Interior organization: Two elastic zip pockets inside the main compartment.
• Hydration compatible: Bladder sleeve accessed through the BackDoor.
