Uru Beam Clamp

The Uru beam clamp came from a frustration of doing aid-climbing on the regular standard beam clamps. They’re just too heavy and therefore hard to install.

The Uru Beam Clamp was designed for rope access companies, addressing the limitation of regular beam clamps, which are only for fall arrest. Inspired by big wall climbing, it allows for creating temporary anchor points and has evolved into the first industrial rope access beam clamp of its kind.

Two sizes cover flange thicknesses up to 24mm, and widths from 15-45cm. It has two anchor points that can be used simultaneously but function as a single system for rope access. M6 bolts help secure it in place but must always be used with the connecting strap. The clamp can also be used vertically, with a sling recommended for vertical lifeline systems.
