The Whitby Safety Rescue Lock Knife with a Blunt-Tip is able to be opened in a single handed operation and features a 2.5" stainless steel teflon coated blade that is also able to fold into the high vis thermoplastic handle. When folded into the handle the units measures 4.5" When the blade is folded out of the handle it will lock into position so that there is no danger of it folding back on your fingers. The blade features a very rounded end so that there is no danger of stabbing someone when it is being used in close proximities. Also on the end on the handle there is an eyelet that is ideal for securing it onto a lanyard so that in the event of a rescue you can't drop and lose it.
