Detailed Description

The Beastmaker 2000 is a hangboard for experienced climbers who want to push their finger strength further. It covers all the main grip types with a wide spread of slopers, edges and pockets, so you can target specific weaknesses instead of training around them. Every hold is radiused to reduce the risk of tweaks, and the wood is grippy enough to train on without wrecking your skin.

This version is made from FSC-certified beech grown in the EU. It’s slightly denser and darker than the original, with a subtle grain, and it should hold up a little better over years of use. The timber comes from continuous cover forestry, which doesn’t clear-cut the canopy, and it’s kiln-dried with biomass and moved by road. Beastmaker says this gives it the lowest carbon footprint of any hardwood they can reliably source.
