Detailed Description
Turns any canister stove into a lower, steadier, more capable cooking setup — without adding bulk to your pack.
The LowDown is an upgrade for your canister stove or stove system, letting it do more than a typical canister setup ever could. Its foldout legs create a wide, stable base that drops the stove's overall height significantly, which makes a real difference on uneven ground or when cooking around young campers and pets. That same wide base also lets stoves of nearly any size support larger pots and pans, turning an ultralight stove into a capable group-cooking setup or a tall stove system into a steady camp-table coffee maker. The remote valve and fuel line move flame control off the stove entirely, so adjusting the burner no longer means reaching a hand under a full, boiling pot. When you're done, the legs fold flat and the fuel line packs down small for easy stowing.
TO USE
Connect the LowDown's fuel line between your canister and stove burner as you would a standard hose-mounted setup, then unfold the legs to set the wide, low base on stable ground before lighting. Works with virtually all MSR canister-fuel stoves and stove systems (excludes the SuperFly™ stove).
