Detailed Description

The GRIGRI is now available in a Limited Edition pink, for a limited time only. It’s the same assisted-braking belay device climbers trust in the gym and at the crag, in a colour that’s easy to spot on your harness. Compact and lightweight, it works with single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. The assisted braking makes it easier to hold a climber or catch a fall, and the handle-operated cam gives exceptional control when lowering.

Features

  • Limited Edition pink colorway, available for a limited time
  • Assisted braking for gym and crag: feed slack and catch falls using standard belay techniques. Always keep a hand on the brake side of the rope.
  • How the braking works: when a climber falls, the device pivots on the carabiner, the rope tightens, and the cam pinches and brakes the rope. Holding the brake side of the rope helps engage the cam, which is why it’s important to always hold it.
  • Broad rope compatibility: dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, optimized for 8.9 to 10.5 mm
  • Engraved rope-installation diagram on both the inside and outside of the device
  • Smooth, controlled lowering: the ergonomic handle releases the rope easily, and the progressive feed gives a smooth, comfortable descent
  • For all users: simple to use for lead and top-rope belaying, with a balanced, lightweight, compact and durable design
