Detailed Description

Scarpa Boostic is designed for technical face climbing where support for continuous micro edging is crucial. The asymmetrical and downturned shape with a medium-to-high angled toe box is combined with a curved piece of flexan for unrivalled edging performance. Made in Asolo (Italy).

Features

  • UPPER: Multi-panel microfiber upper with Alcantara big toe panel for the best custom moulding fit. A high-stretch gusset allows easy entry and the twin strap closure system gives support.
  • INSOLE: A cleverly-shaped curved 1mm Flexan insert with support and sensitivity.
  • ACTIVE RANDING: The DTS active randing system provides tension in two different strengths on either side of the foot. This torque helps drive power towards the big toe and further enhances the asymmetrical shape. The PAF System is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel.
  • SOLE: 3.5mm XS Edge full-length sole with added arch support gives stability and top-level edging performance.

Technical Features

  • V-TENSION: V-Tension system enhances toe-pulling power by supporting the arch and forefoot area. This tensioned rubber wrap is paired with a full sole unit and so does not need rear bands. It works in the same way as X-Tension to maintain the optimum foot position for small footholds.
  • PAF System: PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel. The aggressive tension-rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon and connected with softer rubber, that works like a bridge and allows full adaption to the shape of the heel. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for mid tension and 3 holes for strong tension.
  • It can be resoled: This shoe can be resoled in an offical SCARPA resoler. Take your shoe/boot resoling before it's too damaged.
