Detailed Description

A compact, single-person energy absorber that lets a rope access technician step away from the rope to get work done, without giving up fall protection.

The ASAP'SORBER pairs exclusively with the ASAP Mobile Fall Arrester  or ASAP LOCK Mobile Fall Arrester, extending the system just enough to free up working space during certain phases of a job — reaching around an obstruction, working off to the side, or simply getting clear of the rope line itself. Tear-webbing inside a durable, replaceable fabric pouch absorbs impact force progressively during a fall, while the pouch shields that webbing from the abrasion and contamination of daily use and opens easily for routine inspection. If the pouch wears prematurely, it's field-replaceable on its own (ASAP'SORBER Pouch, SKU L071EC01) rather than retiring the whole absorber. It comes in two lengths built around a simple tradeoff: the 20 cm version minimizes potential fall distance, while the 40 cm version frees up more working space — pick based on which matters more for the job at hand.

Features

  • Must be used with an ASAP Mobile Fall Arrester  or ASAP LOCK Mobile Fall Arrester — not rated for standalone use

  • Durable fabric pouch protects tear-webbing from abrasion and contaminants
  • Pouch opens for easy routine inspection and is field-replaceable if worn (SKU L071EC01)
  • Available in two lengths: 20 cm (reduced fall distance) or 40 cm (more working space)
  • Designed for single-user use up to 140 kg — not rated for rescue scenarios
