From Cracks to Gyms: The New Wild Country Friends Tour Is Here
Climbing has always been about connections, community, and sharing. And the Friend, Wild Country’s iconic piece of rock protection, didn’t just change climbing. It started something bigger, our value of connections and friendship. Over time, this value has only grown bigger and wider together with the climbing community. This summer, with Rack’n’Roll events, we’re bringing that full circle. Connecting the heritage of climbing with the new generation shaping its future.

Wild Country was built on connection. The Friend is where it started, but what followed was a culture of shared experiences, trust, and partnerships. Today, much of that happens in gyms. That’s why Rack’n’Roll Squamish has a gym component because we are with our community anywhere and everywhere.
Come join Wild Country, Climb On Equipment and Ground Up for these events that connect the heritage of crack climbing, a new generation of the iconic Friends, and you, the community of climbers that keep us going.

Film: Necronomicon: Cracking the Limits
Necronomicon: Cracking the Limits immerses audiences in the journey of professional climber Mary Eden as she attempts to climb the seemingly impossible Necronomicon, a daunting 100-foot roof crack in Canyonlands National Park. Spencer McKay makes their directorial debut in this groundbreaking short film starring Mary Eden and Tom Randall.
Presentation: Climbing Century Crack
Join us as Mary shares her story of this iconic climb. In November 2025, she became the first woman to climb Century Crack, a famous 5.14b trad roof line (read: horizontal!) in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. This is a demanding offwidth route which requires excellent technique, a trust in your gear and a special kind of gritty endurance that Mary certainly has. We can’t wait to hear all about it!
