Patagonia
Functional, comfortable climbing gear built to move and made to last.
Founded in 1973 by rock climber Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia is a global outdoor clothing retailer headquartered in Ventura, California. Originating from Chouinard's hand-forged gear business, the company expanded internationally and opened its first store, Great Pacific Iron Works, in 1973. Patagonia evolved its product line to include sports-specific apparel and commits 1% of total sales to environmental causes through One Percent for the Planet. In 2019, the company prioritized distributing branded products to firms focused on environmental, social, and corporate governance initiatives.
