      The History of Petzl

      Petzl history begins in southeastern France in the 30s with Fernand Petzl. Fernnand was introduced to caving and after each excursion to the depths, Fernand imagined new tools for exploring darkness and heights. In 1968, he marketed his first products; in 1970, Petzl was born.
