Tindeq was founded in Norway in 2010 by a group of outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for climbing and adventure. Frustrated by the lack of innovative climbing equipment on the market, they set out to create their own brand focused on pushing the boundaries of performance and technology. Through meticulous research and development, Tindeq launched its first product, the Progressor 150 dynamometer, in 2015, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to revolutionizing climbing training and equipment. Since then, Tindeq has continued to expand its product line, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation in the climbing community.
A dynamometer works by measuring force or torque exerted during an activity. In the context of climbing, the Progressor 200 dynamometer tracks finger strength. It typically consists of a grip connected to a strain gauge. When you pull on the grip, the force applied causes the gauge to deform, which is then converted into a digital reading displayed on the device or transmitted to a smartphone app. This provides climbers with precise measurements of their muscular strength, aiding in performance tracking and improvement.
