K6G Mega Twin Gate Carabiner

A pear-shaped HMS carabiner with a patented double-gate system built for the connections that absolutely cannot fail open.

The Mega K6G's pear shape gives it the generous internal geometry needed for smooth rope handling, secure clove hitches, and multiple simultaneous connections at a belay or anchor. Its forged aluminium body holds up to repeated heavy use without losing shape, but the real distinguishing feature is the patented Twin-Gate system: two opposing gates that have to be opened in sequence before the carabiner will release. That sequential-opening requirement makes accidental opening from rope movement, rock contact, or unintended pressure far less likely than with a single-gate design, and the mechanism keeps working reliably even when packed with dirt, ice, or in cold conditions that can jam a screw-lock or twist-lock sleeve.
