K18N WIDE Screwlock Carabiner

A large, glove-friendly locking carabiner built for the moments when fumbling with a small gate isn't an option.

The K18N WIDE's forged aluminium body gives it the strength and shape retention needed for repeated heavy use at belays and anchors, while its oversized profile and wide gate opening make it easy to operate even with thick gloves on — exactly when smaller locking carabiners become frustrating to manage. The Screw-Lock gate adds a manual safety margin over auto-locking mechanisms: once threaded closed, it won't loosen or open on its own from vibration or repeated handling, but still locks and unlocks with a simple twist when you need to move it.
