    • Descender
    • Chest ascender switching into descender
  • For work at height, replace 2 devices when joined with LOV.ROPE
    • Adjustable lanyard for work positioning
    • Evacuation device
  • Progressing with fall arrest, descender or positioning on tight ropes.
    • Example: In case of a fall, hanging on their fall arrest LOV2, a technician would be able to evacuate himself immediately, without using any kind of other system. They will be able to descend diagonally, in order to avoid possible obstacles.
  • This worldwide innovation responds to the norms EN 12 841 type A/C et EN 358 (with LOV.ROPE).

Is the Taz Lov2 Descender suitable as a TR rope solo device?

The Taz Lov2 is not specifically designed for rope soloing; it is intended for fall arrest and descending diagonally on tight or regular ropes. While it meets certain EN standards for specific rope diameters, it has been adopted by many climbers as part of their rope solo systems. Its ability to catch you in the event of a slip and allow direct rappelling without altering the system makes it quick and convenient to use. However, we recommend using a backup device, rope protectors, a thick static line, and ensuring you possess the knowledge and skills to set it up correctly, assess hazards, and perform self-rescue if necessary.

Disclaimer:

We do not recommend using the Taz Lov2 beyond the manufacturer's guidelines. Any risks from modified use are solely your responsibility—ensure your safety and climb within your abilities.
