The R1 Air's zigzag-knit construction opens up airflow and keeps bulk to a minimum, so it breathes hard when you're working and dries quickly once you slow down. The classic crewneck cut layers easily under a shell or packs down small when you don't need it — a solid piece for anything between aerobic output and standing around at the trailhead.
